Where is this country going?
Well I don`t know where this path is leading. But the path is heading in the wrong direction. We as christian should be praying and turning from our wicked ways and GOD will heal our land.

When times gets hard
A friend told me right after hurricane Katrina to remember God won`t put more on us then we can handle. One night I was having a hard time that I just lose everything I had in one day. I lose my home, truck, and with no way to work, my job. I hadn`t slept more then a few hours since Katrina. I was crying my eyes out. So I prayed to God and ask him to help me I couldn`t handle anymore. As soon as I finished a calmness came over me. And a few minutes later I was a sleep. Jesus is Great.
God bless

Christian helping America
"What can we do for our country?"
1. Go to a BIBLE following church. Get involve in community activity through the church . Go out and invite people to visit your church. Ask your neighbor if they would like to come to your church with you. Even if you don`t like them. God ask Jonah to tell people that he dislike to change and repent, so we need to Jesus is for EVERYONE. And give to your church. They need money to survive too.
2. Write your local policitians. They all have web sites. Go there and see where they stand on issues like abortions. Tell them how you feel about these issues. Tell them your a christian and you are praying for them.
3. Smile!!! Be happy that we are free to go to church, own a Holy Bible, and write blogs about Jesus. And be a good example for non-believers.
4. Work hard everyday at work. This country has to many people wanting something for nothing. The reason we don`t build stuff in America today is because people don`t want to put in a honest day work. Yes they might go to work everyday but when they get there they get a cup of coffee and go around tell everyone hey for the 1st hour and so on. Stop talking and get some work done!
5. Pray. Pray for everything. The country, The church, Your community, Your family, And Yourself. We all need prayers.

Policitians
Does your hope lay in the belief that a politician will get America back on the right track? Do you want a politician that is going to lead us out of this economics crisis or lead us to the "Promise Land"? What about a politician that will put more money in your pocket or that follows the word of God? What about a politician that will give all free health care or protects the innocent child in the mother`s womb? Do you want a smooth talking politician that will tell us what MOST wants to hear or do want MOST won`t do work his rear end off to do his best? Do you want a politician take is the same party affiliation or the same race or that is Hip or that has a firm belief in the Holy Bible?
May GOD BLESS the U.S. of A.

Things Christians Should Do
I believe the first thing Christians should do is read their Bible. To know God you must know his word. I heard if you read about eighty-five verses a day you could read the Bible in one year. I have a Bible at work that I read on my breaks. I find at work, I need God's word the most. I try to read at least one chapter a day.
All Christians should find a good Bible following church. I used to think that you didn't need to go to church to be saved, and maybe that's so, but, I feel it helps to be around other Christians a few times throughout the week. I have learned a lot more about God's word by attending Sunday school and listening to the preaching.
Forgiving others who have hurt or done something wrong to you. God forgives us for our sins, why can't we forgive those that hurt us? We see cases where parents forgive the murderers of their children (I hope I am never put in that situation). If they can do that, we should be able to forgive someone that lies, steals, cheats, or hurts us in some way.
Prayer should be an important part of a Christians daily life. We need to pray throughout the day, not just when you're in "trouble". We should thank God for all of our blessings.
Finally, what I believe the most important thing a Christian should do is tell others about Jesus Christ. You don't have to be a preacher or even a great speaker to talk to others about Jesus. The best way to start is to tell others what led you to Christ and all the things that he has done for you.

My First Blog Ever
Welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy it. It is still a work in progress. I'm new to blogging, actually I'm new to writing period. But I deeply believe in Jesus, and I want to find a new way to help people find their way to Him. I have ideas how someone could help visitors feel welcome at their church. I remember when I first started attending church, it sure was nice to have someone with a smile on their face greet me and say, "Hi. My name is Mike. How are you this morning?" It helped me feel at ease and more focused on the preaching, instead of wondering about what people were thinking about the new guy in church. I feel, as a believer, our number one job is to help the lost find their way to God. I hope this wasn't too painful to read. Please feel free to leave comments, ideas, and prayer requests. Thanks for visiting. God bless.
